Workers Rights Are Human Rights – OSHA Training!
April 2018 – Kensington, Brooklyn, as part of our continued building of Hate Free Zones, DRUM hosted OSHA trainings for 30 South Asian day laborers on their rights as workers, the new regulations on workplace safety and the urgency of undocumented immigrants protecting themselves through organizing. As the Trump administration continues to ramp up racist and xenophobic policies and practices against all frontline communities and deregulate workplace protections, we must work towards ensuring the safety and well-being of ALL workers.
